Anne O’Brien is Auckland Writers Festival Director and joined the organisation in 2011. She is responsible for artistic programming and operational management. Anne previously produced Nine To Noon with Kim Hill, was Executive Director of not-for-profit organisation Women in Film and Television, and has also worked in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors across management, financial services, fundraising, administration, investigation, and event production roles. She has a degree in English Literature and a Diploma in Journalism.
