Technically, Raybon Kan’s name is on the spine of three books: 5 Days in Las Vegas, America on Five Bullets a Day; and An Asian at my Table. He’s won awards for column-writing and stand-up comedy. He started out as a lawyer in Wellington, before fleeing responsibility, to opinionate on TV and films. When TV went through a quiz phase, he won Test the Nation three times, but was robbed in The Great NZ Spelling Bee. (Spellcheck is disabled on his computer.) It’s possible he wrote this bio himself. He aspires to owning a greyhound.
