Siobhan Harvey photo

Siobhan Harvey is the author of five books, including the 2013 Kathleen Grattan Award for Poetry winner, Cloudboy (Otago University Press, 2014) and bestseller, Essential New Zealand Poems (Godwit, 2014) which she co-edited. Her poetry, fiction and creative nonfiction have recently published in Arc(Ca), Griffith Review (Aus) and Asian Literary Review (HK). In 2016, she won the Write Well Award (US; Fiction) and has been twice runner up in the NZPS International Poetry Competition. She is a Lecturer in Creative Writing at the Centre for Creative Writing, AUT and is the current President of the NZSA. Presently, she’s studying a PhD in Creative Writing in which poetry and creative nonfiction is crafted through the lens of connection to landscapes, external and internal, liminal and figurative.
